EASTER TABLE DÉCOR IDEAS
Cut flowers and birch twig nests
In the run-up to Easter, our editorial would like to share some table décor ideas to keep the holiday vibes at home. Beautiful flowers, Easter bunnies, candy bowls, sauce boats, and many other cute objects will add few more colors to your family feasts. First, you need to decide what color palette would you like to stick to when decorating the table. Red and white colors are traditional for Easter because they represent purity and God’s mercy. However, springtime inspires a lot of people to add other light and joyful shades, for example - yellow - the symbol of the sun, happiness, and glow, green illustrates nature and hope, blue symbolizes a clear sky. Surely, you can make a whole pallet of colors, but we suggest choosing two or three main colors and add different shades to them.
An indispensable attribute of an Easter table is natural flowers. They personify the freshness of the Holy week. Decorate your table with hyacinths, lilies, tulips, or your favorite spring flowers. Lilies could be placed in transparent wine glasses at every table, bunches of green grass with small chocolate eggs- into small dishes around tableware. You could put a branch of sakura or willow into a transparent vase or hang a couple of small eggs on it. Decorated quail eggs like precious stones will look perfect inside the vase. Make a nest from old branches you would likely find in your yard and carefully put Easter eggs there. Place flowers and decor elements around your house and the atmosphere will look even more festive. Take a linen tablecloth and thematic tableware as a serving base. Silver dishes and decor eggs (like Christoffel) could make your design more updated and exquisite. Willow branches could be placed into napkin rings and bread should be wrapped into a canvas and tied with a rope. Every table could be laid with a napkin, willow branch, and a decorated Easter egg. Add a couple of chromium-plated chandeliers with candles to your table design.
