At the WWDC World Developers Conference, Apple presented the new iOS 15. We will tell you about all the innovations of iOS 15 in our article.

3D audio in FaceTime

Apple developers paid a lot of attention to the FaceTime video call service. During a FaceTime call in iOS 15, you can use 3D audio. This means that your voice will sound from the side where the other person is on the screen. You can also filter the background noise to better understand the other person on the phone. In FaceTime in iOS 15, you can also filter background noise to better understand the other person on the phone and set up portrait mode for videos (with background blurring) to make yourself the center of attention.

Listen to music and watch films and shows on Share Play

The new «Share Play» feature lets you share music, TV shows, and movies during a FaceTime conversation. You can even watch a movie on your Apple TV during a FaceTime call.

The new notification design

From now on all the notifications on your smartphone will be slightly larger. In addition, in iOS 15, all notifications will be collected in a so-called "summary" of notifications, based on user interaction habits with applications. The summaries will be displayed at the desired time, either assigned by the user or calculated using an artificial intelligence system.

Livetext

The smart features of the device also allow you to recognize text in a photo, highlight and copy it. In addition, in iOS 15, you can take a picture of the phone number, and then tap on the number in the image to make a call. With the «Visual Look Up» feature, you can take photos of landmarks, works of art, plants, flowers, and animal species to learn a little more about them.

The new «Safari»

In iOS 15, the tab bar in Safari will slide down from the top of the screen, making it easy to switch between different tabs with one hand. Users will be able to create groups of tabs that will sync across all Apple devices. Clicking on a group of tabs will open all the websites that are stored in that group.

"Maps" and "Weather" have also been updated, you can now store documents in your Wallet, and Apple Music is now supported in "Memories" in Photos. iOS 15 will support the following iPhone models: iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X, iPhone XR, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone SE (2020), iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max.
