Actual eye make-up and body-art trends.
Major beauty trends from the runway.
2020/2021 autumn-winter season Fashion week marathon came to an end and it is high time to talk about the actual fashion agenda. Let’s start with the most vivid one. The gurus of creativity - the make-up artists Kabuki and Fara Homidi didn’t miss a chance to add colors to our daily routine and created extremely bright images, that could be very inspiring before Halloween, New Year and other themed parties. During the Moschino brand show, whose collection was literally drawn on the fabric, the make-up and abstract prints became a natural follow up of creative outfits. At the Salvatore Ferragamo show focused mainly on body art: silver pigment was covering the whole fashion model’s body and a transparent natty dress played a minor role.
Black eyeliner, smokey eyes and colored graphic liners - became absolute hits at the runways of the 2020/2021 autumn-winter season, that could be easily adopted to daily make-up. Make-up artists of the Versace fashion house have been standing their ground and for the second season straight, they have been sticking to bright wide liners on entire eyelid. That kind of make-up can be renewed by liquid shadows, eyeliner and everlasting lipstick.
The Dior house creative make-up director designed images focused on eyes by applying intense smokey eyes, aiming at making a poetic and stunning look. In order to repeat the make-up of the models from the Dior show, circle around the eyes with an eyeliner, then put black eye-shadows on an inside and outside of an eye tail. Peter Phillips suggests gradual shading in the middle of the eyelid to make them look less intense. It allows to open the look and avoid too intensive eye make-up.
