OPENING OF THE WINTER SEASON IN THE “MOSCOW POLO CLUB”

In February 2020, two snow polo tournaments will be held at the Moscow Polo Club. The first of them, the Moscow-Veytay Snow Polo Series, will be held on February 15. Athletes from the Swiss club De Veytey, which is located next to Geneva, will compete with Russian players on this day. The second tournament will be held at the end of the month - February 29. Both tournaments will be held in traditional mixed leagues for international competitions - amateurs and professionals will play together. Matches are also connected to the international handicap system, which reflects the player’s level and affects the ability to participate in serious competitions. In the first tournament of the season, scheduled for February 15, Russian and Swiss players who have already become good friends will meet who will fight for the title of the best team in the championship. The tournament starts at 13:00, the gathering of guests is scheduled for 12:00.

In addition to an exciting game of polo, all participants in the event will enjoy a warm welcome in the club's comfortable heated tent. Guests will be offered a brunch, fragrant mulled wine from the Bournier winery, as well as the author's cocktail “Bloody Mary”, prepared according to a special recipe by a partner of the club at the St. Hotel Regis Nikolskaya Moscow. The basis of the legendary classic cocktail will be vodka from the premium Beluga brand. For younger guests, a children's corner will be organized in which they can spend time drawing, or playing active games. During the tournament, at the venue of the event, with the support of the MIZK gallery, which opened about a year ago in the building of The Ritz Carlton Moscow Hotel, a personal exhibition of the artist and sculptor Alexei Dmitriev will be held.
