The best works of John Galliano, created by him for the House of Christian Dior in the period from 1996 to 2011, will be put up for sale for the first time. In total, the Cornette de Saint Cyr auction, which will take place on June 7, will feature 500 lots, 300 of which belong to a Russian woman who has been actively buying clothes and accessories at Home since John Galliano started working at Christian Dior.

Among the main exhibits are a black evening dress from Galliano's first collection, which was estimated at 600-1000 euros, and a red python coat with a belt from 2005, estimated at 5000-6000 euros, which originally cost 35,000 euros. Prices start at 100 euros for clothing items such as shoes, cashmere sets, and jewelry. The auction will also feature about 100 legendary Dior bags, including Lady Dior, Gaucho, Malice, Cadillac, and of course, the Saddle Bag. Special attention, according to the organizers, will be focused on the denim version of Saddle Bag, embroidered with butterflies, from the collection of 2004.
